Many years ago when I lived in Hollister my dad took our family to Salinas, Ca to visit a friend. He met this person in Teen Challenge Mens Home. I remember going to an apartment and spending time with his family. As the years went by we did not stay in church but Pastor Macario did. Since then he Pioneered a church in Los Banos, Ca and then accepted the challenge to uproot his family and go to the mission field in Mexico. The more I talk to him the more I learn about this amazing man. His faith is so inspiring, but yet when I speak with him he talks about having more faith... Child like Faith! So here is a brief sit down interview with Pastor Macario Parra, Enjoy! [READ MORE]

This past week I was looking forward to the weekend. Me and my wife had many places to go on saturday, our whole day was pretty booked. Then I got a call from my Pastor who was out of town preaching he said “announce streets on saturday” In that moment everything changed. So now my whole scheduled changed. To be honest I was unmotivated to go to streets. I thought of different ways I could get out of it, I could easily make a valid excuse not to go. [READ MORE]

Where do I start with this concert…4 worship teams, many worshippers One God! We came expecting God to move like never before. Going into this night I really wanted to play the background, like many of you at times I really just wanted to worship God. I tried to make it to where I would just play an instrument and not worry about leading worship, well it didn’t happen that way I would have to lead. So before our team got up to lead worship I had to make an alter with God. As the first band was playing I went up to the alter face down on the floor and made myself a sacrifice to God. I gave him my hangups, struggles, worries and most importantly my life. Wow, God came in and did something different in me. I got up a new person, he broke me.
As the night went on he did so much other things to me and to many others. This concert was different from last year, I really feel that the impact of this night will be remembered as a night of change for many people. I could go on forever, but I want to hear from you all. Please share your stories of what God did for you or things he showed you. I hope to hear your story so that it can encourage others!! Keep the fire burning!
